this trail measurement thing is getting too analytical. it's clear what happens when trail is increased or decreased. but it is only one factor. taken out of context, it has no merit. the 'optimum' trail measurement that one may seek as the 'be-all-and-end-all' for their own use will have little effect if the front wheelbase, the frame drop, the rider's center of gravity and position, the frame's materials choices and assembly, the correct choice of components, etcetera are not properly matched for design being referred to. it's all connected! e-RICHIE http://www.richardsachs.com
