Joe is entirely correct here. Hoods and vintage tires are what are truely N.L.A. (nolongeravailable). Fortunantly, both will be made when interest reaches critical mass as it has with restoring cars and motorcycles.

There is one other part in short supply. Vintage chains (other than the ubiquitous Reginas). The truely sad part is the chain on an old bike is the first thing the new owner tosses without even thinking. Often these are original chains that are in almost unworn condition, but need a thorough cleaning. They are all rusty and covered in caked on grease, but underneath is a restorable original chain!
