Fair enough. So far I have not run into the need to do anything to achieve higher bars. If you want to ride a bike in that position the best method I know of is find a builder who will do that for you. I'm not one of them, that's all.
Haven't needed to build a mountain bike, a triathalon bike, or any other variation or trend that drives the market. Like I said, I'm a specialist. One of my specialities is not following every trend that comes down the pipes just to sell people bikes. If you like what I do fine, if not there are plenty of other builders out there. If one chooses to believe that they must have their bars level with the saddle then so be it; but I'm not one of them.
The last time I checked this was still the United States of America, and I fully embrace ones' right to choose (or to choose not to). Therefore, carry on men. Never mind me, I'm just the looney from California, and don't you forget it.
More curious about the esoteric qualities of the Flying Scot than which end of the egg to open.
