I don't want to understate the potential risk of a bar breaking, but I do think folks tend to run around like chicken-little- the-sky-is-falling over these kind of topics, Routine cleaning and close inspection is a logical way to avoid potential problems, NOT dumping the parts altogether or repeatedly chanting redundant warnings!!
