I think these were anodized after the fact. Campagnolo didn't do any factory dark anodizing until the late 1980's. Anodizing was an American affectation in the early 1970's on all kinds of components. One store I worked in (Bicyclevillle in Santa Monica) was crazy for anodizing, they had whole groups done in black and in this butt-ugly bowling-ball-like swirl. Shimano and Suntour offered black components, also Stronglight did black cranks and Dia Compe colored high-end brakes. Campy didn't offer anodizing until the 1980;s Century groups and a grey-painted low end group.
