Gang,

Peugeot PR-10L, circa 1975-78 judging by the graphics pattern. Three-tube 531, but probably seamed fork, who knows about the stays? PR-10s did not have chromed rear stays, but did use the Simplex ends, which is a quick and dirty means of identifying them. I had one of these I bought at the '99 Cirque, and it rode well during its tenure as my fixed-gear.

This one is from the period of the riveted sn plate, so the number doesn't help in dating it. If I had to be firmer than 75-78, I would be tempted to say it is a later one from this period, as the ones I have seen used mod. 49 cranks, and this one has mod. 93. Not an upgrade most folks would make, but as later Stronglight cranks came in, I bet the mod. 93 was downgraded to second-tier in the Peugeot lineup ...

By '79 it was the PKN-10 series, with the checkerboard fade pattern graphics.

Cool bike, btw ...
