Another thing to have on the shelf is a film called Bicycle: A History of Invention. It's a fine film that goes through the history from the 1860's to about 1992 and has a great part where Merckx and Lemond are having a debate. It also shows how lugged bikes are built in a Japanese factory. I used to own a copy, but through the many moves over the last 5 years it's disappered. enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives PS: If you get "The Bicycle Theif" you must also accuire "The Icicle Theif" which is a wonderful homage to a wonderful film.
