I have mentioned before on the list the incredible builder Ramon Orero who also worked at Paris Sport very late in his career. I know very little about him as he did not speak a lot of English. He was an Argentinian and had a bike shop in Nutley, New Jersey. He went to Argentina in the winter and built the bikes there. I only remember two examples, both racing bikes. My wife has one and a guy I used to race with circa 1975 named Mike Ascher had another. Mike was a teacher in Verona NJ. His was a gorgeous black metallic with chrome lugs. The Orero lugs are quite thin and the bikes have many artistic touches.
