Is this not one of those "popular misconceptions of our time" ?

W.F.Holdsworth Ltd. was a retail outlet whose house brand was "Roy Thame" and who sold Holdsworth, as opposed to The Holdsworthy Co. Ltd, who produced frames under the 'Holdsworth', 'Grubb', 'Claud Butler' and 'Maclean' names. and componentry under the "Worthy etc. house labels. The question is, did Holdsworthy produce the "Roy Thame" frames (Hilary ?)
