I suspect the Mondia threading is like Allegro, which had gone to English threading by the late 70's. In the 60's and early 70's, Allegros were French with a Swiss fixed cup. My 1969 Allegro, like your Mondia Super, has a French HS but a 22.2 stem. I've never heard of this combination except on Swiss bikes.

Not necessarily. I had a Mondia Super with French thread BB and HS that took

a 22.2 stem and normal 1/1/8" FD clamp. Don't remember about the seat post. Phil brown
