My first "real" bike in 1977 was a used bright orange Mondia with flashy white and black airbrushing, chrome fork ends, and Nervex lugs. I loved that bike! I remember the gemetry to be quite sporty - more like my Raleigh Pro than my Raleigh International. In particular, it did not have the nice long chainstays like the more comfy International. I don't recall if it was a Special or Super...how were they different? Mine had full NR except for Weinmann centerpull brakes.
