What I remember... The first generation S.R. had Ti bolts (we're talking about the large pivot bolts here). The second generation S.R. had Ti bolts, then aluminum bolts, then Ti again. I was told they used aluminum for a while because of a shortage of Ti for civilian use (late 70s cold war space race with the Ruskies).

I have a few second gen S.R. derailleurs in box with aluminum and some with Ti; and of course with the PAT. #'s. Or the rest of you can volunteer the PAT. # on yours and whether they have Ti or aluminum bolts.
