I have been having no luck the last two weeks locating ANY NOS or near new/excellent condition clincher rims for my new NOS Mercian Professional project. I am seeking out 36 hole Mavic MA40's, or Super Champion, or...... Anything that is late 70's or early 80's that is narrow clincher. I also have some hubs in 32 hole so I will consider these rims also, but prefer the 36. I have no desire for sew-ups anymore, and NOS tubular rims are plentiful, but I plan on riding this bike often and I wear out tubies much too quickly. Thanks for any help!
