Dear list members:

Re: The CR e-mail List and the CR web site classifieds. I seem to frequently be placed in the position of reminding folks about how this works, so I thought I would remind the whole crew once more. The CR list and web site are intended for selling vintage/classic items to other vintage bike buffs at fair prices. It is not for auctions, bidding wars or driving up prices.

Of course this is all free, but I am the judge when it comes to gray areas... _________________________________

For announcing items, bikes, frames etc., for sale/wanted to buy/trade on the CR mailing list...

- Firm price only. (Please no "what's it worth" or best offer, and all that. If you are trying to determine highest price, go to eBay and just tell us it's there...) - Name. City, telephone and e-mail address please. - Describe the item's key features especially the SIZE! - Generally limited, as with the CR web site philosophy, to lightweight stuff from maybe the 1930s to early 1980s. Items which are "classic" in nature (A Baylis or Sachs frame? Toe clips, classic content books, wool jerseys, what else? E-mail me first if you are unsure..)

- Pretty much same as above except you would e-mail to me a properly composed ad.

Thanks for your cooperation...
