According to Richard Schwinn, Letsch Manufacturing of Racine, Wisconsin was contracted to build many of the Paramounts in the mid-1970s. They also built the early '80s Schwinn Superiors that used up the left-over Paramount pieces/parts abandoned in 1979 (Nervex lugs, tubing, etc.).
