I tend to agree with Jerry. I had one and sold and serviced hundreds in a
shop that sold thousands. They arrived at our back door by the container
load. We were a big Raleigh dealer and sold more UO-8's than all Raleighs
combined. We had some tricks to make the front derailleurs work but other
than that, they were much better than most other bikes in their class. They
were great to ride and seldom came back with problems. I also have a PX-10.
