an interesting repair came into the shop today. a pair of high flange record hubs without the campag logo but with legnano. they're in for overhaul and new tubies. the lock nuts are dated '60. the rims are mephisto. the spokes are tied(not soldiered) i will have to find out if this guy has the bike to go with these wheels. just finished a complete overhaul on a '70's gitane for him with replacement wheels that had late '70 record high flange hubs. but nothing else special. rather oh these old hubs than a modern campag cassette rear.... peace sarah
