Don beat me to a post... I have been having creep problems and the heat and not staying off the brakes hasn't helped. I know Monkeyman posted glue prefs a few back and I'll reseach those but I'm curiuos about procedures people use.

For new installs and replacements. On a virgin rim I usually score of the inside of the rim and then use Clement red thined and bit to build a several layer base. Then, after a 24 hours cure I'll mount the tire using a pass of Conti cement on the rim and then on the tire.

Stick on, inflate, center, inflate to about 120lbs, clean the rim side and let it setup overnight...

Usually, this does ok but when the temp hits about 85 or so they creep. I have tried Mastik with same results;( Wolber seemed ok though.

I'm wondering if the mixing of glues is the culprit??? Moneyman, please share you trade secrets!

Also, which tires have the worst/best base tape glue problems? Just tried some Michelin Liberty and the base tape is peeling like a banana. Vittoria usually good.
