I've held Utmosts in my hands, measured them, and ridden on them (brief test ride). I seem to remember they were 27mm wide, and some super-duper construction like total kevlar casing or some such. Very high quality construction, very nice and classic looking. I built a racing tandem (for a guy who wasn't going to race it, but just wanted the "utmost" racing tandem). He happened to be the local Vittoria sales rep so of course he supplied the tires. This was probably around '90 or a little later.
