Larry,

I have used Campy bar end shifters and currently have Simplex on a Follis and Suntour on a Raleigh Prestige (Japanese built). The Simplex units shift better than the Campy bar ends, but they are not a match for Suntour (IMO). I will probably use the Campys again (maybe on a Woodrup?), but the Suntours have a nicer feel.

What do I really prefer? I have Ultegra bar ends (8 spd) on my Bianchi cyclo cross, and just can't beat index for off road use!! "Soft Middle Age"!!! :-)
