If I remember correctly, the Weyless hubs & seatpost were introduced in early 1976. I was at the Huffy corporate design office the summer of 1976, and my boss had some samples that he was given at the Toy Fair in NYC that past January. Everyone at the office thought they were very cool, especially the skewers. Richard Rose (Toledo, Ohio)

Hi all,

Has anyone out there used Weyless hubs for a long time? What time period are they correct for? Any opinions about quality/longevity? Any problems? Are the bearings easily replaced, or.... Thanks as always,
