Subject: [CR]breaking seat tubes

Martin Confess I didnt think this was a problem. Coincidntally I heard a conversation between Albert Eisentraut, a framebuilder whos been at it long enough to qualify as "on topic" for the CR list and a dealer friend just last week. Albert had built a frame for the dealer and apparently likes to build seat tubes that require 27.0 seat posts. We couldnt figure out why till he explained he liked the protection to the frame of the thicker walled seat tubing. Think youve just shown why.
