> I don't know about the least drop and reach but > Bicycle Classics has the Nitto B65LL... These are shallow drop bars but I believe the reach is 100 to 105mm, which is pretty long for a small cyclist. In fact, I think that the Bicycle Classics web page warns about this and mentions that you may have to use a shorter stem to account for the longer reach of the bars. > Within this range what would be considered "normal"? I think that's kind of like asking what is a normal frame size. > And, more important, how difficult is it to find bars > with, say, a 136 drop and a 65 reach. The closest you can get to this - at least with a 40cm wide bar - is a Cinelli model 64 or Nitto 185. The Nitto model 105 has a 65mm width but seems only to be available in 37cm width. Actually. although the Cinelli 64 is listed as 80mm reach, the set I measured this morning is actually a bit less - more like 75mm (on a 40cm wide bar). If someone has any 40cm Nitto 185s or Cinelli 64s around, please let me know. Cheers, Fred Rednor
