Hello Paulie,

Your frame looks very similar to the early 70's Jeunet 630 that I purchased from fellow CR list member Ted in Berkeley earlier this year. The top of the seat stays, lugwork, and odd pump peg configuration are all identical to my 630. I could not find the EDA oval on my 630's BB, however, and the fork crown on my bike is different, with a more pronounced trident design. Dale has a pretty good 630 image with specs at http://classicrendezvous.com/France/Jeunet_630.htm

You indicated that you had just stripped the frame -- I didn't see any evidence of chrome on your bike, while mine has half-chromed front fork (and crown) and rear triangle. I know Jeunet had both a 610 and a 620 model in the early 70's -- maybe your mystery frame is one of these? Hope this helps with your identification effort.

BTW a Silca pump with campy head fit neatly on my 630's unique pump pegs.
