Hi I been Lurking on the list for about 3 weeks and have enjoyed it. So first I need an introduction.

I live in Scio, Ohio, which is in the middle of the Ohio Wilderness. Finding vintage bikes here is a real challenge. I as have yet never even seen a Masi. None the less I enjoy the debate.

The other day may wife counted up my bikes and informed me that I had 16. No way I said and proceeded to count them. She was of course wrong. She had forgotten the 4 that where in the basement so there were 20.

Anyway I got on the list so that I could identify a couple of them and get some answer to questions on them.

Which brings me to my latest acquisition. I have just received a 1983 PVS 10 Peugeot. It is made of the Super Vitus 980 tubing. Some one was asking about the Vitus tubing and I wish we could hear from some of the experts. . I for one would like to know about their different tube sets and nomenclature. The CR site has nothing on it and the always-informative Sheldon Brown has only a short mention of them. Also my PSV-10 came with a Shimano Light action rear derailer which I believe is incorrect. Does anyone know the correct one? Also does anyone have the lock ring tool for the Maillard Helicomatic freehub that they are willing to sell? Finally this bike came with an Avocet Saddle. What was the saddle it originally came with?
