I'm a bit afraid to post one more to this childish, OT thread, but I just love this one: My dad worked with a guy, born Richard Rising, went by Dick, and worked in the Erection Department at Combustion Engineering in the early 70s. The normal way to answer the phone there was <department name>,<your name>, so we youngsters would call his extension (no pun intended) just to hear him say "Erection, Dick Rising!" - then giggle and slam down the phone.

He was used to it, even enjoyed it, sez my dad. Could've gone by Richard if he didn't like the attention.

Is that your reason, e-Richie? Hmm?
