The change occured in the early 80's. To the best of my knowledge, Stronglight mod 93 and earlier (mods 63, 57, 49) were only made in 23.35. Mod 106 and later (and maybe 105) were made only in 22.0. Mods 99, 104, and maybe 105 were made in both 23.35 and 22.0. This makes mods 104 and 99 very interesting, as you must try to match old crankarms both with respect to pedal thread (French or English) and exractor thread (23.35 or 22.0) I don't think the axle taper changed when the extractor thread did.
