Subject: [CR]Help ID Colnago

Just bought a Colnago on ebay that came from Italy. The seller said it was an '82. The top and down tube have a grove on both sides of the tube running the full length of the tube. The chain stays have a grove as well on the inside of the stay. This was done to increase stiffness I guess. The chain stays also have Colnago stamped into the outside of the stay and it is about 5.5 cm long. The frame also has some light touches of airbrushing. In putting the frame together I found that the spacing was 130, not sure if it was built that way or cold set to accommodate 8/9 speed. Looked all over for a serial number, but could not find any. Any help in IDing year and model would be of great help. Can send photos if that would help. Below is the link to the auction with a small photo of the frame as well as a sellers description.

Thanks in advance,

Mark, heading out on a 30 mile shake down ride on the Colnago, Poore
