I've noticed these listed in Campy catalogs. It begs the question whether there were special taps to prep damaged shells to take these cups. 0.5mm seems like a lot of extra cup, more than a loose-fitting shell might allow.
Interesting too is the listing of BB lockrings sized in mm (?) width increments. Presumably these served to keep things looking neat if your shell is too narrow.
