From my conversations with Peter Weigle I am convinced that Frame Saver was specifically engineered for its application. He is not repackaging an existing product. Frame failures from internal corrosion, while not common, do occur with sufficient regularity to warrant an "ounce of prevention". Furthermore; I believe that Frame Saver is no more toxic then the other petroleum based lubricants and solvents that are commonly used in a bike shop. I use Frame Saver on every frame that I sell.
