Anyone going to make the trek to Three Oaks, Michigan, on 30 September 2001 to ride in the Apple Cider Century? I don't think I've ridden in it since 1978, but I am definitely going to try ride (at least part of it) even though I am not registered. (Of course if it rains, I will probably wimp out.) I grew up not far from Three Oaks, and the ACC was the local century. It is also houge--6,000 riders!
If any is going, please drop me a line. I'll probably ride my '87 Basso with C-Record, my '84 Trek 770 with Mavic (one Chicago's more exotic commuters), or a non-vintage '95 Merlin. (Not vintage, but Dale assured me it is a classic.)
