We had extensive discussion on rims (weights/strength) a long time ago.
Could anyone tell me where I can get info on various rim comparisons?
Maybe latest strongest is Mavic GP-4, previous Champion Du Monde?? I was trying to straighten early 70's Fiamme Red(round label) but it was so soft, and I made a flat spot caved in. I rode Yellow (rectangular) narrow rim, again, so soft and light, I thought I had to loose 40lb from what I am now 165.
I do nor know anything about Blue label, nor Weinnman, Ambrosia, Milremo, etc.
