oes anybody on this list know where I can get the steerer tube threads on my Motobecane cleaned up and rethreaded? I just took off a French-threaded Gipiemme headset to replace it with a new French-made headset, but there is one section of the steerer tube where the threads are messed up. It doesn't bother the Gipiemme headset, but the top bearing race of the French headset needs to screw down farther.
None of the local shops around here have French taps or races. I don't mind shipping the fork out to someone, if anybody here knows of anyone that can do it for me.
