Subject: [CR]Raliegh GrandPrix Questions

I have come across a Raliegh GP and would like some help in dating it correctly and maybe a guess as to the value. If I have some thoughts to these questions, I will see if I can aquire it, and offer it to interested CR listers, or if no interest, stick it onto Ebay. here are the particulars: 25 inch (63?cm) frame, 23 inch top tube, c-c; transfer says it is "2030" tubing. serial number 2734986 on bottom bracket shell. Simplex mechs, front and back, the cheaper Delrin style (I forget what they were called); cottered crank; Weinmann 750 "Vainqueur 999" center-pulls; original Weinmann levers have white Carlton hoods. Wheels are steel, high flange hubs, no quickrelease. Stem is alloy, I think, 11.5 extention, and has a "GB" embossed on either side. Handlebars are alloy, and about 40 cm, with translucent blut plastic tape. Paint is a very good looking bright blue, with black panels, and the lugs are gold lined. Paint is overall in good condition, as are the transfers, but there are scratches. I personally know that this bike has had very few miles put on it for the last 25 years. It has been in dry storage, so there is no rust to speak of. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Ron 'too short for this one' Gurth
