Velo Rendezvous=Velo Valhalla
This Saturday/Sunday event was an amazing success and Chuck ( & Sherry) deserve high marks and our very heartfelt thanks. The feeling of 'togather-in-veloness' was pervasive-meeting VR listmembers and other vintage cycling enthusiasts for conversation was awesome. The speakers were all GREAT! ...The afternoon ride and then Dinner Saturday night carried the good will/mood into Sunday. The Sunday morning ride was short but much fun.... afterwards was the classic bicycle display and show. The variety and quality of the bicycles represented was ASTOUNDING!!! I am certain that there will be a substantial number of pictures to follow as there were almost as many digital cameras as bicycles....I can't wait for next year!! The turnout was very good and we had cyclists from all over the US and even Japan. Many of those folks covered great distances from the Pacific Northwest, East Coast, Mid- America and all over California. My hat is off for their efforts. I apologize that this note is short on details but once the VR members get back to their computers the pictures and impressions will flow.
