Greetings. My name is Mike, I'm a new member. I live near Seattle, and have recently re-discovered the joy of bicycling.
I have a late 70's (can't remember when I bought it) Motobecane Jubile Sport. It's in great shape (I rode it to work yesterday - 11 miles each way), and except for new tires, has all original equipment.
I enjoyed road riding in the 70's and 80's - then got away from it for about 15 years. During that time, I went through 2 mountain bikes, but kinda let the old Jubile Sport sit. Started riding it again this summer, and have had a great time. (I also got a new mountain bike, and have enjoyed it, too.)
About last March, I decided to get healthy again, lost 45 pounds, started riding and running - and I feel great. The only problem up here in the north is that it's dark when I go to work, and dark when I come home. Got lights, but it's still not the same.
