Hey, Y'all:

I think the same bug what got Wayne Bingham also stopped by my house on the way; I've been down fo the count with a nasty cold since Trexlertown.

There were interesting bits to be had, but like other specialty events (record collectors come to mind), one of the several reasons people decide to become vendors is to get a headstart on the hoi polloi. Martin, Joe B-Z and I arrived circa 7:30, set up shop, and I stood guard and began to peddle merchandise around 8 whilst the others were scurrying around the premises. Wayne Bingham arrived at 8 to set up shop in our shared 10x20 space. In addition to other stuff already mentioned, finds included two Ideale 90 saddles (one alloy-railed with seatpost!), NOS Avocet sealed-bearing hubset, CLB brake levers, and Joe's big purchase: a pristine Vitus, all C-Record (including Delta brakes), with Houdaille trainer, spare Sedisport chain, and all-Ti spare freewheel (Maillard? I forget...)..........$225.

Given the reality that the three of us had arrived with table, two frames, and boxes of bits in my Volvo wagon, I limited my purchases to a Phil Wood/Rigida wheelset for my 3Rensho project, and a lovely Lotus tourer which is to arrive via UPS.

Saw a few listmembers: Roy Drinkwater, Pete Geurds, Larry O, Walt; spotted Larry Black scurrying around with an overloaded cart o'stuff after the event was over. Missed seeing Jill (sob!).......and not a sign anywhere of Curtis Anthony!

If I left anybody out who stopped by to scrounge through our collected pile o' stuff, I apologize. A worthwhile event, gorgeous weather. Vendor tables were only $25 for a 10x10 space.............

Respectfully submitted,
