For what it's worth, I have spoken extensively with the owner of these bikes. His email have been very detailed and polite. He inherited these bikes from his dad whom he said passed away unexpectedly in 1999. Since I have been burnt on an ebay bike purchase, I asked if I could drive up and look at the bike I'm interested in, in person (I'm in CT he's in NH). Not only has he agreed, but he is going to meet me at an exit off of I93 saving me about 45 minutes. He knows the bikes rough values and is certainly going above and beyond to help me insure I bid based on how I evaluate the bike - not your everyday ebay'r.
