No doubt in my mind which is more "collectible".. However, that said I recall another listmember saying that we collect "what we wanted when we couldn't afford it" or something to that effect. I wasn't around in 1899, but I was in Japan in 1975 which is why I bought the 3Rensho in red with yellow decals and built it up with Campy components when I found the frame.. (in fact, I bought it from Bicycle Classics and could describe the frame to them including color... before they described it!!!.. I just knew it was the 3Rensho I'd lusted over in Japan so long ago.
Collectible remains relative
