I don't know about a silver model, but the gold one like you describe is called the Everest Serie Special Oro. I put a picture of one up at http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Parts/Everest_Chain.jpg

I just bought a NOS one on ebay, paid a slightly embarrassing price for it ($65) but I just HAD to have it - chain lust is not a pretty sight!

Turns out the guy has more of them. I already gave Tom first crack, he said it's OK to post this to CR, he's holding out for silver. Don't know if you'll be able to talk him down, now that this idiot (me) has him thinking $65 is the going price. But if you want it, contact him: egomes3@juno.com - first name's Mario, didn't get his last name (Gomes maybe?) I haven't received mine yet, can't vouch for the guy, but he has 30 positive feedbacks including some from names I recognize, and no negative feedback.
