Bruce,

I hate to point this out but for those prices, what are they willing to throw into the deal. I mean come on, car painters can be cheap skates sometimes. Tell him to put in a new headset and bottom bracket if he expects any repeat business. That's what my customers expect from me and everyone knows I deliver. £35 for paint, why worry mate.

Gilbert Anderson North Road Bicycle Company Raleigh, NC USA Where we paint any car for £35.00, we do bikes on the side.

I've found out about someone locally who will paint a frame (if I strip it) with two-pack and bake it in an oven for £35 or around US$50. He comes highly recommended by a car dealer I know. This seems like a very good deal but I'm a bit worried about durability, etc.

Cheers,
