Indeed. Once, during my college days, I stopped a group of five or six guys because I was convinced that the bike one of them was wheeling belonged to me. Yes, I was "a little" drunk. A closer look confirmed that his bike bore only the vaguest resemblance to mine (which, incidentally, I had no reason to think had been stolen). I made a quick apology and a brisk getaway.
"Hey, it's dark... I'm drunk... sorry guys!"
They were speachless.
