'Tric' is on the list of banned chemicals in Europe for quite a few years as a result of Montreal, was it ? (oh dear, sorry I'm treading on eggshells here :-) In fact that's how it left the scene from almost all the aerosols - to be replaced with something akin to propane but nothing like as good - Come on guy's this is getting a bit BOBish this topic - here's my two cents anyway ; Best solution ? A pair of latex gloves, an old toothbrush, elbow grease, Cif (that used to be Jif over here) - it's a proprietary cream kitchen cleaner- and last of all water..... Absolutely nothing to beat it - recommended to me over 25 years ago by a mototrcycle restorer (who also happened to hide the cleaned parts from his mother in the bedroom)

As a one time Safety Manager, I could reel off endless stories about maintenance guy's having accidents whilst cleaning the sludge out of commercial 1-1-1 Tric tanks.......It's one of those facts of life - some of the best things ever invented are the most hazardous.....

Now then. can anyone help me with this XO-1...........:-)
