I asked this once before, but here it goes again: I believe the year was 1981 (maybe 1980) when a cover article appeared in Bicycling magazine that had two bikers facing each other. One biker was on a Japanese high end bike and the other was on the European Bianchi. Their faces were only about a foot or so apart from each other, and they were grimacing in some sort of competitive stance. What do the list members remember about the article, and has anyone read it recently enough to refresh my memory about the staff's conclusions?
