Subject: [CR]FS: '90 Merckx Corsa Extra & Explanation

Hello All,

I've been reading about the opinions expressed regarding posting items for sale. I agree that some types of posts should be discouraged, but since it states in the bylaws that this kind of post is permitted, and I "need" to sell a frame to those who'd appreciate it, the following is for sale. I do not have many bikes, so I commit to doing this very very little. I did find a great bike from this list from Gilbert Anderson. I would have never known of his shop or the bike I bought from him were this list more restrictive.

Thanks,

Bill Graham

$550.00 shipped UPS or FedEx Ground in cont. US.

'90 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra 57cm c-c frame and fork. 56.5cm c-c top tube. Columbus SLX steel tubing. Frame and derailleur alignment checked last week. Sloping crown Merckx logo engraved 1" threaded fork. Colbalto blue with white down tube panel. Chromed chain stays. 130mm rear dropout spacing w/ adjustment screws. 27.2 seatpost required. Italian threaded bottom bracket. New Campagnolo Record headset. Two 3T quilled stems included, 110mm (silver) and a 120mm (gray anodized). Two 3T 44cm o-o double groove bars included, Ergo Due (gray anodized, traditional drop) and a Forma 2 (silver, anatomical drop). New Selle San Marco Rolls Due saddle included.

Restored two years ago by Fresh Frame and ridden less than 100 miles since then. This frame looks literally brand new except for two incompletely touched-up paint chips on the left fork leg. The color is matched well for the touch-ups, but the paint needs to be built up to be perfect.
