Larry,

I remeber those limited production bikes showing up at GTCS and, as I recall, there was a touring model, a racing model and perhaps one other model (track would be appropriate, given the builder and where they were built). The race bike was Dura Ace EX. I remember a touring bike that had early Deore. The crank had a tiny bolt circle like TA, and I think it also had the jumbo pedal hole, like the DD. There was a wierd platform pedal with adjustable points on the platform to grip your Beta Bikers. I also remember 600EX sidepull brakes. This is probably not much help, but that obscure Shimano triple may not be so incorrect. Maybe it is a race bike with a "factory-installed" triple as would normally be seen on the touring model.
