Thanks to David for finding the Viking Site which links to some of the other Wolverhampton bike makers including Percy Stallard.
This is going to be news to Dale, but I have several duplicated Viking catalogues from the 50s and 60s which I was going to include in a parcel to him in the near future, so hopefully he will be able to do something with them. My next current project after this current project (I'm sure you know what I mean) is a Viking track bike. I had two Vikings as a kid but they were the cheap ones. Desperately longed for a Severn Valley. Has any CR subscriber restored one? I'd love some pics, but please warn me first. Our phone line runs through some trees, over a footbridge and under a permanently saturated field before emerging up a pole about two miles away. Not exactly ISDN!
