I personally have desired a "Gate" for quite some time. I have heard that they ride quite well and like few others. Believe what you will. As to the aesthetics of the machine, I feel that they are quite attractive. I also feel that fancy lugs are quite attractive. Do they drastically affect frame performance? No. Are they unusual and give the bike a distinct look which represents the imagination and ingenuity of the builder? Yes. Such is the "Flying Gate" design. Yes sir, I like em!
