Subject: [CR]Tullio's Attic....

Garth's question and my subsequent Google search pointed me to a site I'd never visited before, specifically the http://www.ridecampy.com/ site. After poking around a bit in the site I discovered the vintage section, Tullio's Attic: http://www.ridecampy.com/5/cat5.htm?455

Now my question is: Are these prices realistic? I'm asking sincerely, because for me the vintage bike hobby (besides the beauty and the neat history) is about economy. I kinda fell into it because it was a (relatively) cheap hobby. I kept coming across neat bikes in my size and they were cheap, before I knew it I was looking for them! :-) I suppose for many that prefer all things NOS/NIB/untouched-by-human hands, perhaps it's not quite as cheap, but boy the prices on this page threw me for a bit of a loop.

Just curious, I guess I'd rather have parts and bikes with 'patina' that I can actually afford and not feel afraid to actually ride. I should write out the Karma post I've been meaning to get to...

Cheers,
