Subject: [CR]Education on Fork bends

I got this response from a friend about the 5 inch rake on my RML fork. I've not heard the bend discussed like this on the list, so thought I'd share and solicit opinions. Which bend is considered to be more comfortable? Any other thoughts? Lou Deeter, Orlando FL Quote from friend: "It looks more curved than it actually is because the builder put the rake in low down the blades. This is called a 20% bend because it's one-fifth the way up the blade. Most bikes these days use a 40 or 50% bend or, in the case of straight blades, a 0%."
